Hiking trails lead you beneath soaring sandstone cliffs or through high desert pinyon and juniper forests. Enjoy the contrast between the diverse habitats that make up the unique Sedona landscape.
Experience the ultimate in mountain biking in stunning surroundings on some of the best single-track trails in the world. Our trails just outside the resort’s front gate will challenge the most experienced riders. Whether you are a skilled biker or just starting out, we have the training that fits your needs. Be prepared to learn, have fun and accomplish amazing things with our experienced and knowledgeable guides. Most adventures are two hours long and require no transportation, giving you the maximum amount of time on two wheels. Mountain bike, water and helmet provided.
Women's Mountain Biking
Our ‘Diamonds in the Rough’ program starts with beginner skills in braking, shifting and balance and then moves on to intermediate skills of cornering, weighting and mastering ‘rocks & roots’ and advanced skills like roll-offs and launching. Once you practice the basics on the trails just outside the resort, you can join other guests for one of our regularly scheduled mountain bike excursions – or opt for our Exclusive Ladies Biking Adventure which takes you farther afield for longer rides, giving you the time to practice techniques among the famous red rocks of Sedona in the company of other women.
CANYON CONSERVATIONISTS PROGRAM
To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Resort and our continuing dedication to preserving the the flora and fauna that were here long before we arrived, we will be featuring weekly programs all year long. These programs are designed for the whole family and include guided nature hikes, hive and honey lessons, special guest speakers, interactive demonstrations and much more!
