As a haven for tennis enthusiasts, this Arizona tennis resort offers private lessons, activities, tennis programs, tournaments and workshops. The talented staff offers instruction from beginner to advanced levels.

Guests enjoy playing on a total of seven outdoor courts, including two center courts. Players have one of the world's most dramatic landscapes to serve as the backdrop for casual games, tennis lessons, clinics and tournaments.

ADULT PROGRAM (18 and over)

Sharpen your tennis skills with an emphasis on fast paced drilling. Open to all levels.
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 10:00am.
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 3:00pm. to 4:00pm.

This class focuses on a single stroke with an emphasis on production. You will learn the latest teaching techniques to develop your game to its fullest potential. Open to all levels. Please book in advance.
Daily 1:00pm to 2:00pm.

Test your skills against one of Enchantment Resort’s Tennis Professionals.  Players will play a no-add scoring match and at the end of the hour if you are beating the Pro there will be no charge!  Open to all levels.  Scheduled on request (subject to Pro availability).


Improve your child’s overall game through stroke isolation and fast-paced drilling.   This class incorporates the latest teaching techniques to develop their game to its fullest potential.  Please book in advance. Open to advanced players (ages 12 and up). Monday, Wednesday and Friday 11:00 to 12:00pm.

SUPER STARS!    $45/pp
This class is designed to introduce children to the game of tennis in a fun and friendly environment.  Students will learn proper stoke production through positive reinforcement and repetition. Point play and competition are introduced through fun games designed to encourage players to excel. Please book in advance. Open to beginning and intermediate players (ages 5 and up).
Daily 2:00pm to 3:00pm.

Court use, daily clinics and racquets are all included in the resort fee. Class and clinic hours are subject to change.

Meet the pros

Nelson Banes

Nelson is a former NCAA All-American and ATP professional.  He has coached on both the ATP and WTA tours.  Mr. Banes is also the award-winning producer and director of the documentary “Inside Tennis” made for the Tennis Channel. He leads the experienced, friendly, and enthusiastic tennis professionals at Enchantment.

Brian Grooms

Brian began playing tennis at an early age growing up in New Mexico. At the age of 16 Brian enrolled in the John Newcombe Tennis Academy. Brian went on to become a starting NCAA Division I college tennis player at NAU in Flagstaff. After graduating Brian went on to join the ATP World Tour where he traveled the world playing professional tennis.

Cliff Gerwick

Cliff learned to play tennis at an early age under the Dennis Van Der Meer program in Berkeley, California.  He played tournaments competitively in the region, and went on to play collegiate tennis at Alaska Pacific University.  He was on the staff as the tennis instructor for both adult and junior programs.  After pursuing a career in science, Cliff returned to teaching tennis and playing competitively.  He is ranked both regionally and nationally in his age division.

Trent Hayward

Trent began playing tennis at age 9 in Columbus, Ohio.  He then went on to train at the Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Florida and became a top national and international junior.  Trent played at Northern Arizona University where he became a top college player receiving All-Conference and MVP honors.  He  is now focusing on passing on his tennis skill to players of all ages and levels.
