George has over 32 years of experience mountain biking in Sedona and more than 28 years of experience instructing at all skill levels. An excursion with George takes you to awe-inspiring locations and elevates your sense of confidence as he instructs and encourages you to seek new challenges.

Rita Faruki
Hiker, poet, nature lover, Rita is a life enrichment teacher who specializes in marrying her background in teaching with a deep desire to assist guests in integrating nature into their emotional tool box. She resonates with being not only a nature guide, but a guide to open up people’s consciousness as to how they can use the earth in sacred companionship. Using plants, trees, and rocks as teachers, a sacred earth walk with Rita can assist a guest in going more deeply within while having fun in the canyons and woods of Sedona.

Carla Williams
A published author and avid adventurer, Carla Williams spent over 40 years in Alaska, exploring glacial valleys and the majestic Alaska wilderness. Today, Carla guides outdoor enthusiasts through local trails to reveal the unique geology, archaeology, spiritual vortexes, desert flora and historical sites throughout Sedona’s awe-inspiring red rock terrain.

Doug Copp
A native Arizonan and lifelong cyclist, Doug Copp has been volunteering with the forest service building trails in Sedona since 1994. Doug’s knowledge and understanding of Sedona’s dynamic trails provides riders the best possible experiences as few understand the landscape better than Doug.

John Clement
With more than 30 years of experience riding along the Sedona singletrack trails, John Clement’s calm and friendly demeanor provides beginners with the confidence needed for a successful first run and advanced riders with a memorable partner to share their experience with.

Kim McDermott
Resort veteran, Kim McDermott has spent the past 17 years leading guests along mindful hikes in and around our enchanting destination. Currently leading the Mii amo Mindfulness Team, she excels in finding the connection between oneself and nature and draws heavily upon the rare energy that can only be found in the Canyon.

Elizabeth Dean
Elizabeth has had a lifelong passion for archaeology and the study of indigenous cultures. She enjoys sharing her knowledge collected over the past 20+ years as an “Avocational Archaeologist” participating in fieldwork and classroom teaching. With teachings from various tribal members in California, Oregon and Arizona, Elizabeth has learned how indigenous people connected with and respected all of nature.

Larry Lindahl
A professional travel and nature photographer with images published in international magazines and award-winning books, Larry Lindahl offers guests a unique perspective while traversing through some of Sedona’s most breathtaking red rock landscape. Larry’s photography work can be viewed in several traveling and permanent exhibits throughout the United States.

Lindsay Scheiwiller
With 10 years of varied trail running experience, Lindsay Scheiwiller brings a new level of persistence and excitement to her group sessions. Eager to gain access to some of the nation’s best trails, she and her husband moved to Sedona, where they were able to share their love of running and knowledge of the local trails with visitors from far and wide.

Lisa Grubbs
Adventure enthusiast, Lisa Grubbs, finds great delight in the thrill of travel and outdoor exploration. This former naval officer turned naturalist truly found her calling through the study of the diverse bird species in our arid desert region. She loves sharing the natural wonders of the land with others and looks forward to meeting guests from all around the globe.

Nina Rehfeld
German native, Nina Rehfeld has explored the backcountry of Sedona, the Grand Canyon and the American Southwest for the past 15 years. Spending the majority of her career as an accomplished journalist, she finds ways to meld her two passions of writing and hiking into her daily life.

Dr. Patti Pierce
With a Doctorate in education, administration and supervision, Dr. Patti J. Pierce embodies the intrinsic principles of Enchantment Resort and Mii amo. Proficient in the practice of yoga, guests will find Patti conducting sessions at Mii amo Spa and out on the trails during her specialty Boynton Canyon Yoga Hike.

Roy Julian
Roy Julian finds great joy in guiding guests along the trails and showcasing the natural, archeological wonders of Sedona. His specialty lies in illustrating the ecosystem that predates modern civilization. As a primitive skills enthusiast, Roy animates his excursions using replica examples of the food, tools and clothing used by these early settlers.

Robin Weeks
Accomplished academic, Robin Weeks, is deeply passionate about geology and ecology. He has developed a spiritual approach to engaging with nature, through intuitive communication with desert flora. Through these ‘discussions’ and by silent contemplation, a hike with Robin through Sedona’s natural landscape can lead to an unparalleled level of discovery.

Steve Tedrick
As a skilled and experienced mountain bike rider, Steve Tedrick has been riding the vast trails of Sedona for over 28 years and has been a resident for the last 17 years. Steve’s immense understanding of Sedona’s landscape and trails allows him to curate memorable and thrilling rides for his guests of all skill levels and abilities.

Ashiko Rupp
Growing up in a small Swiss mountain village Ashiko learnt how to ski at an early age and spent a lot of her childhood hiking with her family. Her passion for the outdoors combined later with meditation, mindfulness and different healing modalities and led her to her current work at the Spa Suites at Boynton Canyon and the Trail House.

Oksana Kubrock
Oksana Kubrock is an outdoor enthusiast with a passion for Sedona. As a former teacher, who is fluent in several languages, she delights in sharing her knowledge about Sedona with her fellow hikers. Needless to say, she is a popular choice for those looking for an extra special experience. A great guide makes all the difference, and Oksana’s natural and trained abilities make her just that.
