Kathy Simonik

Kathy combines decades of professional graphic design experience with a lifelong passion for creating art. After earning her bachelor’s degree in Visual Communications and building a successful career serving corporate clients in Chicago, she now creates from her Sedona studio, specializing in handcrafted copper art. Her abstract Southwest-inspired landscapes, mixed-media copper collages, and woven copper pieces showcase rich patinas and textures developed through a meticulous, multi-week process.

At the Artist Cottage, Kathy enjoys sharing her techniques and encouraging guests to explore their own creativity with confidence and individuality.
