Grand Canyon – Above the Rim Tour

  1. How long is the drive to and from the Canyon?
    The drive out and back (round trip) will be approximately 4 1/2 to 5 hours.
  2. What are the meal options for our tour?
    This is a full-day tour featuring breakfast options from The Market to enjoy while driving to the Grand Canyon in our private transport vans. We will stop for lunch at the historic El Tovar Hotel Restaurant at the South Rim and afternoon snacks are provided by your guide. A cold picnic lunch option is also available.
  3. Can we walk/hike along the top of the rim?
    Yes! There are 12 miles of paved walkways along the rim. They are optional and based on your family’s overall interests and abilities. Please let your guide know!
  4. Is this tour suitable for kids?
    Our tours are very educational in terms of the history, geology and Native American culture, wildlife and flora. Our expert guides customize the tour to your interests and cater to couples and families across different age groups, making it fun and engaging for all!
  5. Can the length of the tour be shortened?
    The tour can be reduced to a minimum of 9 hours including the round trip drive, if needed.


Grand Canyon – Below the Rim Tour

  1. How long is the drive to and from the Canyon?

    This is a full-day tour featuring breakfast options from The Market to enjoy while driving to the Grand Canyon in our private transport vans.   3. How steep/strenuous is the trail?
    The hike is a rather steep and strenuous trail with multiple viewpoints along the way to rest and enjoy the views. By contrast, our Above the Rim tour offers the opportunity to visit viewpoints on an easy, paved walkway. Please select the tour option that best fits your interest and abilities.
  4. How much of day is spent hiking?
    The Below the Rim tour will take you on a hike up to 3 miles below the rim and then back out. Hiking times range from 2 – 4 hours.
  5. Is the Below the Rim tour suitable for kids and/or seniors?
    Our tours are very educational in terms of the history, geology and Native American culture, wildlife and flora. Our expert guides customize the tour to your interests and ability level; catering to couples and families across different age groups, our guides make it fun and engaging for all!
