Paul Kessel
Paul Kessel, a native of Arizona, had the unique experience of growing up on the Fort Apache Indian Reservation as a non-Native American. This upbringing fostered in him a deep respect for the landscapes, cultures, and traditions of the Southwest. He has served on the Boards of Directors for both the Arizona Humanities Commission and Northern Arizona University.
With over twenty years of experience teaching art and humanities in the community college system, Paul also held leadership roles, including serving as vice president at two institutions. As a Certified Interpretive Guide, he has shared his knowledge of the region with visitors from across the United States and around the world, helping them connect with the land and its people.
An avid environmentalist, Paul is also an accomplished professional artist whose award-winning work is held in private collections nationwide and internationally.
